What is Foster Cooperative?
Foster Cooperative is an online community designed to provide tools, services, and products geared specifically to caregivers and community supporters involved in the care of children facing adversity. Through Foster Cooperative, we seek to provide families the necessary resources and connections to feel empowered in their ability to provide better care, increasing caregiver well-being, and overall family health.
Foster Cooperative is a project of Foster Arizona, a non-profit public charity focused on educating, encouraging, and empowering Arizonans to positively impact the lives of kids in foster care.
Who is Foster Cooperative for?
Foster Cooperative is designed for anyone helping children and youth facing adversity to find connections, peer support, quality resources and training, community events, and innovative communication methods to be empowered with tools needed to succeed.

How can I support Foster Cooperative?
The best way you can support the platform is to share other champions of children facing adveristy. Visit frequently to engage and continrubute in thoughtful and meaningful ways. One-time and recurring monthly donations are always welcomed and can be set up once you login into the platform. If you have other ideas for support, please contact us.
For Community Leaders & Community Resource Partners
What is a Community Leader?
A Community Leader is designed specifically to meet the needs of the caregivers and community supporters that are working or caring directly for children facing adversity. Community Leaders have access to all the resources and community pages, can create events and trainings, and most importantly, can create communities (public or private) within the platform and invite other users to join. As a Community Leader, they also act as a facilitator within the community group they've created by engaging in new and relevant topics, responding to posts and requests and ensuring the community interactions remain positive and constructive. How do I create a new community?
For now, new communities within Foster Cooperative can only be created by Community Leaders and Community Resource partners. Follow these steps for creating a new community.

You can easily invite other members of Foster Cooperative to join the community you created by following these steps.
How do I add a training?
Follow these steps to add a new trainings. All new trainings require admin approval before publishing.
How do I add an event?
Follow these steps to add a new event. New events are published immediately and do not require admin approval.
What is a Community Resource Partner?
Over 1,600 resources have been organized into Foster Cooperative making it one of the most robust curated directories of organizations, services, and programs that cater to champions of children facing adversity. Once a resource has been claimed by its owner, they become a Community Resource Partner and are entitled to the same permissions as Community Leaders.
